Merry Freakin' Christmas!!

Despite the title, this Holiday was actually pretty good.

Also, before I go on, Happy Holidays/Solstice/Christmas/etc, etc. Hope you had fun if you celebrated! And if you did not.... well that sucks.

Anyway, my mom and I ended up going to my aunt's house for Christmas eve, which was pretty damn entertaining. Since it was also my cousin's birthday, we were celebrating double. So there was cake, extra-presents and lots of pictures. Also, lots of candles on aforementioned cake- which was hilarious!

After the cake (which was delicious) and after the paparazzi hit, people got to open presents. This was mainly for the younger ones, who got lots of presents! I really hope my little cousin liked the monster truck I gave him! He was all happy with all the new toys and games he got! It was so refreshing to see someone who hasn't gotten this holiday ruined for them and that everything is so shiny and new, still. It literally put a smile on my face.

Like this: : )

I was also able to give my mom the little dolphin necklace I bought her. I was so happy I actually was able to give gifts to people this year! Normally, I can't even give anything to anyone 'cause I'm broke as hell, but this year (although i am now a bit stretched, money-wise) I was able to buy stuff for people! Haha!

Afterwards, we were coerced into playing Loteria for like three hours. I made and lost like five bucks and then recovered two. My cousin, however, made like eleven bucks! That kid is gosh damned lucky! Haha! Like I told him, when I buy a business, he's going to run it. Lol

Later, when we got home, I got to open the rest of my presents- which were awesome. In total (so far), I've gotten a beautiful watch, a stainless steel Swiss army knife, a Remington electric shaver, a set of Lady Gaga buttons, a thermal shirt, and a Fifteen dollar Spencer's girt card. I love em all! : ) I haven't raked in this much during Christmas since I was like ten! I especially liked the shaver and the knife! And my mom got me the watch as a way to remember her when I go away to New York or wherever I transfer to. It was so sweet. : )

Well anyways, I just wanted to wish all of my readers a Merry Solstice or whatever you guys and girls celebrate!

Have a great day and hope you open lots of presents! : )

Be My Poland, Please?

Oh dear. I've neglected my blog for so long! : o

It's been so long since I posted! Last time I did so it was four days before my birthday...

Which went great, by the way. Thank you for asking. Even though you did not ask. Haha! But yeah, my actual birthday landed on a Wednesday so I was unable to celebrate my birthday on the day it landed. I had to go to class. Which wasn't too bad. Afterwards I hung out with one of my best friends and went out to eat, so it ranks pretty high in the birthday scale. Later on, on Friday during my acting class Livie brought cupcakes to celebrate Ivan and my birthday, on which we gorged until I was as sugar-high as a five-year-old left unchecked in a candy store. I'm not kidding on how sugar-high I was. Then, on Saturday, my and my friends went to go watch Burlesque, which is a really good movie. mainly because of the music, but I digress. It was money well spent, until the people behind us started talking and I had to regulate. But it went well. : )

Finals were a certifiable disaster. Right after my birthday week, finals started. I had three essays to write, which I did. I had to bust some serious miracles to finish my paper on Celtic mythology and had to turn in my final essay late. I worked some magic (out of my seriously depleted magic bag) to finish my analyzation of Machiavelli's "The Prince" in one night. I had some serious sleepless nights. The first night I had no sleep, a final and then no sleep again. Up until Sunday, I was not afforded decent sleep. The only good thing about that week was my meetings with my group. Lol! They were awesome. : )

First off, on Monday, I took a few hours off to meet them and go costume shopping. The entire event was fruitless and we found nothing (except my Halloween costume for next year, but that's next year. Lol) but it was so much fun! And then on Thursday we met to practice in which Cliff bought us food, I pretended to work and we practiced- kinda. Then we took a whole bunch of pictures whilst posing on my mac. With my mac, not on my mac. Haha! After that, me and Sabrina went to the Hat. : ) Friday was our performance, which did not go as well as we had planned. But it's all good. My second presentation I had to find a replacement for my partner (who was sick and was unable to make it) so Livie stepped it and it went great! The professor was really impressed, despite the group issue we had previously encountered.

I'm seriously hoping I pass all of my classes! I messed up a bit, but at the moment, I am beyond caring! I just want to pass, so I don't have to re-do any classes! : (

So today was the Academic Decathlon Christmas Party- which is this gathering my former coach always throws for her former and current teams. Which is really nice of her, btw. Anyways, I was able to spend a lot of time with my former team mates, whom I all really missed! We've all just been so busy that we haven't had time to communicate! But it was all fun! I dazzled people with my skills at "Battle of the Sexes," ate some cherry tarts, and played a really hardcore game of "Uno." I'm not kidding when I say Hardcore. We were backstabbing one another and when one player managed to get one card we all teamed up against them. We made alliances, we made enemies, Mari was my Poland- it got crazy! Haha! It was awesome and I would so do it again! : D

Also, I so fucking excited! Coug came back from Yale! I was so happy to have her back that I visited her in the goddamn rain! Hahaha! I even slipped in her back yard cause of some issue with the roof- don't ask. We spent the time watching this documentary on the Deadly Sin of Pride, funnily enough. It's extremely ironic that particular episode was played on that day, seeing as we're both so vain. It was like the perfect episode for us to watch. Then we watched this show about Salon makeovers and criticized the participants- all in all it was very fun. Then before I left we somehow made a song using Garageband something very techno-y and rock-ish. we kept remarking on why we had not done that before so it might be something we wish to pursue... : )

Okay, my hands seem to be very tired from typing. Lol! I will stop here. Although I will try to blog once every two days, if not every day! : ) Now that I don't have anything to do! Hahaha!

Untitled by Nobody

I had my first audition today! : )

I auditioned for the ELAC production of "Stage Door" and for a one-act play by Woody Allen called "God." I really hope I get a part! I swear, I completely fell in love with the character I read for "Stage Door". The character's name is Keith and the director told me I was supposed to act like everything is about me.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I do that all the fucking time!! Haha! So I acted like I normally would- and they really liked it! Or so they told me. I really want the part!! : )

The second audition, which I did randomly, I believe went really well. They gave me a scene at random, so I ended up playing Hepatitis, the writer in Woody Allen's "God", which I read about an hour ago, and it is fucking hilarious!! It breaks the fourth wall, without really breaking the wall. Oedipus references, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Iliad, and a whole bunch of other things were touched on. I'm sure if I was looking and knew the more obscure references, there would be a shitload more!

I loved today! And Livie was able to audition, too! So we might be able to be in a play together! Cross your fingers for me!! Lol! I really want a part! I wonder by when they'll let me know...

Now for random videos:

Don't fuck with the Gaga! Lol! I fucking laughed cause of this video- so fucking much! It's hilarious!

Favorite Lady Gaga parody:

A Ke$ha parody:

Hope you guys liked the vids!

Also, read "God", you'll enjoy it! : )

Keep your fingers crossed for me!!

Hi! My name is Awesome, and I'm addicted to Staples...

Oh hell. I've really let my blog go. Haha!

Well truthfully, I didn't mean to. I've actually been thinking about what I want to blog on next, but truthfully, I have not had a chance to actually do it. I've just been so busy! I had to work on a 15 page play for my playwriting class and a five page essay on the "Epic of Gilgamesh" as a metaphor for psychological maturation for my Myth and Lit class. I've also had to read an insane amount of literature for my World Lit class. Needless to say, it was all horrible! I've been so stressed!

But right now, I'm taking a break and relaxing before continuing my Gilgamesh essay (which I must also edit and turn in tomorrow, late). I've also have to come up with research on Celtic Mythology for my 10 page research paper that's due a day before my birthday. : (

So break it is. Lol!

I got back my essay on Euripides' The Medea about a week or two ago. I was so pissed!! And it wasn't because of my grade, no I got an A. I was so angry because my teacher dared to question my ethics!! She wrote: "This is a good paper and a good analyzation of character motivation. I hope it is all your work."

She wrote that. I almost started shouting then and there. I'm not even fucking kidding. I would've started screaming uncontrollably and crazily until she apologized profusely. But I controlled myself and have not even mentioned it, since I still think I'll start yelling. That, and she's probably forgotten about it, anyway.

On other news, I saw the first part of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" last weekend. It was epic! I originally had my doubts, seeing as I have not seen anything after Chamber of Secrets for the sole reason that the movies ruined "Prisoner of Azkaban" for me. I really do not remember why, but I remember! Still, regardless, I completely recommend the new movie. They work everything in very nicely, and they skip very little, as far as I know. The last time I read the book was when it came out in '08 I believe, so if they did skip something, I don't remember it.

Anywho, since I'm reviving this previously dead post, I'll let you know. Haha! It is now Nov 25 at 8:54 pm.

I have realized that I have a problem. A very serious problem. . .

. . . I'm addicted to Staples.

I'm not even fucking kidding. Every time I go there I have to buy something, whether it be a new plastic file-keeping contraption, printer paper, binder or Post-Its, I spend money there!! It's becoming a huge problem.

I'm buying random shit I don't need, with money I should not be spending on shit I don't need, and I'm reaching the point where I might start drowning in post its. I could probably take a picture of myself covered in Post-Its, but hmm....

I might actually do it! You know, to justify my Post-It runs to Staples every other day. . . Hmmm. . . I have to admit, it's a titillating idea. . .

On other news, I had Midterm: The Sequel for my World Literature class- and it was horrible! I had to write two in-class essays: one on the difference between male-voiced literature and Japanese, female-voiced literature and another on the similarities between the Bible and the Qur'an. I thought the prompt on the female-voiced literature would've been easier, but no. It was a fucking drag. I couldn't write well at all and the fucking prompt was so damned confusing that I got lost and next thing I knew it, it was twenty minutes to 3 and I only had thirty minutes left.

Even less, when the prof decided to cut the class ten minutes without informing us. She just told us "you've gone over two minutes" when it was only 3. We still had another ten minutes left of class time, which I informed her of (nicely of course!), and she graciously gave us two more minutes to finish writing.

Needless to say, I was not happy. But, despite popular belief, I did not yell, insult or murder. I held my tongue and finish my essay on religious scripture, which is meant to be horrible regardless. Bleh.

Thankfully, I have my two-day Turkey Day break, for which I am forever grateful. I've needed this- I plan to sit, watch movies, facebook/youtube, and just generally veg. In the evening, I'm probably going with family for food, which is usually a nice event- I don't have to yell at my mom's side of the family. Hahahaha!

Hopefully I can do black Friday! I have my eye on a new pair of Doc Martens, some fourteen hole-rs. It would be epic if I can find them on sale (but very unlikely), so I'm better off saving off for Christmas. Haha! Maybe I can get them for my birthday. . .

What is everyone else (hopefully I'm not writing for no reason, lol) doing for Thanksgiving?

Okay, that's my life so far. I'll try not to lag next time! Haha!

Fav New Band of the Month!

Today, after waking up, eating grapes, getting dressed and inhaling a sandwich, I moseyed over to Radio Shack to purchase an iTunes card- something I've been meaning to do since I came into the money I have now. I bought a fifteen dollar card. I had originally planned a twenty-five dollar, but I vetoed in exchange of not buying too much music, something which is now regretted.

I found a shitload of music I wanted to buy a keep and cherish forever and ever and ever and ever and ever!!

Woah. Make that three evers.

Anyway, I redeemed the card and headed to the reason I originally bought the card- Lady Gaga remixes. : )

So I bought a whole Extended Play of those (which are fucking awesome, despite the dumb remarks on iTunes) and decided to surf the store a bit. I went over to the "Complete my Album" link on the main menu, and somehow (don't really know how, exactly) I ended up on the page for a '06 album by the name of "Kick". I listened to the 30 second previews, and I loved them! White Rose Movement absolutely became my new favorite band! Sadly, they are no longer together, but I'm waiting on the new album, which they stated they would release anyway, so yeah!! Haha!

I'm planning to buy another iTunes card sometime this week (most likely tomorrow) in order to buy the whole album.

After I finished squealing like a schoolgirl at the prospect of the awesome new/old band, I searched for CSS (Cansei de Ser Sexy) in order to buy a few new songs from one of my already-favorite bands ("Meeting Paris Hilton" and "Alala") and to generally surf. I want to complete a Mindless Self-Indulgence album...

Right now I just bought a White Rose Movement Extended Play, which I love! Seriously, people check out this band!! You must! You may not like it, but I'd rather have one of you like it out of fifty, then not hearing it at all! : )

That's it for now!

Comment! Plz? Hahahahahaha! : P

Shiny New Shoes

Today I went to the mall. : )

Specifically, I went to Lakewood mall, which is the best fucking mall, ever!

Haha! No joke, I freaking love that mall. I came into a good amount of money yesterday, and decided to buy some new shoes. Mainly because the shoes I have suck (except for my Docs, which I still love), and because really, why not but more stuff?

Today was Veterans' Day, for those of you who aren't in the US, so I had the day off from college- no class! I was originally going to bus it to the Old Pasadena area to do some shopping. Possibly with a friend, but most likely by myself. But truthfully, I did not feel like going to Pasadena (I hate shopping by myself) and I had an inkling to visit the Lakewood mall (I had never been there), I asked Vicki to show me how to get there. She wanted to make a payment on something she had bought on layaway, and I wanted new shoes, it was the perfect timing! Lol

I met her at Starbucks, and after munching on one of their fruit and cheese snack plates (I fucking love those things!), we walked to the bus stop. We had to take two different buses. We ended up actually getting there like around 2 pm, and we went directly to the ATM machine. After she bought some cookies (from which I, of course, freeloaded), we began our shopping excursion.

I steered us toward Anchor Blue, and I found the black and grey checkered flannel shirt I bought. After trying it on, regulating on the salesperson about the price (overcharging- how rude!), and trying on some hats, I bought it. I really wanted a hat (badly), but me and that hat just were not meant to be. : /

But it's okay.

After that, we went to a shoe store, Vicki bought boots. We went to Wet Seal (Why does that sound like animal porn to me? Just saying...), and Vicki bought a shirt. We went to Borders, I bought a couple of books. After that we munched on some pizza and fries at the two-story food court! I fucking love that mall! Haha!

Anyway, after the munching, we went to Hot Topic, where we debated the benefit of her buying poof-y punker-rocker skirts, versus me buying a Lady Gaga wrist band or a green wristband, when all I really wanted was a Shane Dawson t-shirt, which I never really found. Hot Topic was a weird moment. We then moseyed over to Spencer's (not for the sex toys you pervs!), and we looked at the t-shirts and accessories. I bought a bracelet for like 6 bucks, which I totally liked! Lol! Which is why, y'know, I bought it.

After that, we realized we only had like thirty minutes left, so we rushed to Journeys in order to buy my shoes. I ended up buying a pair of Converse, the brand which I have not owned for like years! Last time it was, I think, 7th grade? When I had this pair of teal-blue ones that I really, really liked. I remember trying to stuff them... oh damn, I was so stupid back then. Hahaha!

After that, I bought cookies, we rushed to the bus stop and caught the first bus. The second bus, we had to wait forever for. And it's getting cold here in Cali! Hahahaha! I ended up getting home like at 6 or 7.

Today was fucking awesome. : )

Cumulative Review (of Awesomeness!)

I know I haven't blogged in awhile- I've just been so busy! Today, I had an awesome opportunity to do so, so here I am. : )

This past weekend was great! A whole bunch of us stayed over at a friend's house, and watched movies the whole fucking night- I even made them watch "The Rocky Horror Picture Show", which I bought a few days ago on Amazon. I might have traumatized my friend's little brother, but whatev. Hahaha!

Thanks for having us over Eskiho!! : D

I sadly did not do anything for Halloween. Well at least on the day of Halloween. I was too busy studying for my midterm which was scheduled for November 1st. I wanted to go to the West Hollywood parade, since it was going to Rocky Horror themed and they were going to do a syndicated Time Warp dance! But sadly, I could not get a ride over there...

BUT! I did go to Knott's Scary Farm, courtesy of my Eskiho! It was fucking awesome! I loved Ghost Rider!! : D I also found out that they have horrible pizza there, and I added a few new pins to the collection on the lapel of my navy blue peacoat.

Recently, I have splurging on random shit. I bought two new sweaters yesterday at H&M, since I went with EskiHo, her boyfriend and Josey to Fox Hills mall. I've also recently bought: a boxed set of the Indiana Jones movies, The Rocky Horror Picture Show 25th anniversary DVD set, a RHPS patch, and a copy of "The Elements of Style" which is really interesting. I recommend!

Most important part: I've started NaNoWriMo, which is a challenge to write a 50,000 word novel in thirty days. I have wanted to start this so badly, but I've been sooooo busy! So I'm cutting this short in order to work on that! I'm already like five days behind!!!

Wish me luck!!

Side Note:
What to expect on future posts: A full account of last weekend, my argument with a former friend whose trying to convert me, me bitch about my midterm, my experience at a various plays and more awesomeness!

Science Fiction, Double Feature

So tonight was the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" tribute episode of Glee. I was so stoked for it, i really was! Like, I watched the actual movie like thrice in preparation for it! was awesome.

Well not as great as I thought it was going to be. For instance, "Sweet Transvestite" was slightly butchered (nothing to bad, just some parts cut off i.e. "Satanic Mechanic..."), "Sword of Damocles" was not performed at all (which annoyed me, because it is personally one of my favorite songs from the movie), there were no dressed up party goers and not to mention that nothing after "Once In A While" was performed. Nothing. Not "Rose Tints My World" (Which I love!!), No "Eddie" ("When Eddie said he didn't like his teddy, you knew he was a no good kid!), No "Planet Schmanet", etcetera.

This really annoyed me, especially since they included "Over At The Frankenstein Place", and not "Rose tints My World"! I mean, I get it why, not enough time, they couldn't have the actors cross dressing in slutty lingerie, but still! It should have been part of the end or something!

Other than that (which is kind of alot, lol), It was pretty good. "Hot Patootie- Bless My Soul" was performed perfectly. There was swing dancing and trumpets. Awesome. "Touch-A Touch-A Touch Me" was pretty fucking awesome, too! Best of the bunch, in my humble opinion.

The ending of the show's plot was kind of lame, but they finished off the tribute with the Time Warp. Not even I can complain about that. Whoooo, Time Warp!

"Let's do the time warp, again!!!!!"

And after "Glee", there is this new show called "Raising Hope". That thing is fucking hilarious! Haha! People, watch it. I'll be very disappointed if it's cancelled like all those other shows Fox has made. Lol!

Okay, so I haven't posted in a few days (even though I don't know if anyone reads since no one comments *hint!hint!*) because I've been so busy with school! I probably won't be able to post that much this week, either. I'll try, between editing my essays, writing my critiques, and reading a thousand or so pages for my World Literature class.

After my midterm, I'll post for sure! I'll try to do something about politics, or something.

Easy B+

Today I saw Paranormal Activity 2.

Despite my misgivings, when i considered the first one, it was pretty decent. Because truthfully, while watching the first one I laughed. A lot. The twenty minute lull between the scenes was boring and annoying, and truthfully I wanted someone to die by that time.

(Btw: Spoiler Alert!)

But! Despite my attitude toward the first one, I really enjoyed the sequel. Or in this case, the sequel that is actually the prequel. Or the prequel in the beginning and later on the sequel. Or is it a sequel? Anyways...

The movie is actually supposed to take place before the first one, and it explains everything in the original. Like, most importantly, why the demon was following Katie around. Or why she didn't like talking about her past experiences with the demon. It turns out it was after her nephew Hunter, because of a deal that was made with the demon by their great-grandmother. And since the kid was the only male child born after the deal was struck, the demon was after him. Kristi (the mother and Katie's sister) became possessed by the demon, and in order to un-possess her, her husband decided to "pass on" the demon to Katie, because it only could be sent to a blood relative. So then, after de-possessing Kristi, the events of the first movie pass, and Katie shows up to their house, killing her sister and her sister's husband and stealing the kid.

Truthfully, I kind of blanked out during the middle of the movie because one of the theater employees was checking ticket stubs, and I did not have one, so I was freaking out and trying not to draw attention to myself. Feel free to interpret that any way you like. : P

All in all, the movie was good, and I do not regret risking a possible fine or banishment from the theatre to watch it. Heh.

There is a back story to this, however. We were going to originally watch "Paranormal Activity", but since I was not Twenty-One, and my cousin was underage, I did not count as adult enough to take her with me. So we watched "Easy A", again- for me at least. My cousin had nto seen it, and I was not surprised that she liked it. It's obvious now that good taste must run in the family. Haha! : P

Watching it a second time confirmed exactly how much I liked it. I fucking love that movie. Starring Emma Stone and that guy from Gossip Girl whose name I don't care to remember, it is easily the best movie I've watched all year. It's like evidence contrary to the perceived death of Hollywood movies. Crammed with pop culture references, from "Ferris Buller's Day Off" to "Carlito's Way", and witty (not to mention sarcastic) dialogue, it is described in one word: Awesome.

With a capital "A".

This movie is one I will buy and add to my extremely small DVD collection, right next to "Party Monster" and some B movie starring Nicholas Brendon.

This afternoon/evening was truly the most fun I've had in awhile. While in line for popcorn, we ran into my little sister, her brother and a few of her friends, who were there to watch Jackass. We watched Paranormal Activity together. Ironically, the scariest part of the day did not occur when we watched a possessed bitch kidnap a small child, but when the beefy man checking ticket stubs stood right next to our row. I've never stayed so still in my life! Hahaha!

Shoutout to my cousin, Sammy! Thanks for taking me with! : D

Chlorophyll and World Literature

So I had my midterm yesterday, which turned out to be pretty decent. We didn't completely screw up the lines, just kind of tweaked them so one could understand what the hell we were saying. It didn't come out too badly. Also, we were pretty funny, especially at the beginning, despite that apparently our blocking sucked, but then again, we did not work on it that much, so no problem.

Sadly, we were all split up into different groups. : / Hopefully, we don't stop talking...

Anyways, in other news, I've started reading Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Choderlos De Laclos. It was given to me by my former English teacher, Ms. Woodrow, who has given me many other books in my personal library. (Don Juan, The Aeneid, Herodotus, to name a few.) The book is in letter format, and it's about two aristocrats, a couple of years before the French Revolution, who start playing this game of manipulation and seducing innocent convent girls. While I have not read that far into it (so far I understand the "innocent convent girl" part), it seems intriguing, kind of like a classical version of Gossip Girl or 90201, etc. Sounds fun. Haha!

Random Fact: Who Knew? I like mushrooms. : )

The vegetables! Not the drugs! Haha!

So apparently, on another completely unrelated subject, I have to study for my World Literature class, since my midterm is on Monday of next week. While this does not sound to bad, take in mind, I have to read over, just, you know, everything. From Mesopotamian, to Greek (which I refer to as 9th grade revival), to Early South Asian, China, and Roman. *Sigh* This completely blows, but truthfully I have no one else to blame but myself (yes, I admitted it, surprise!), for not reading the whole thing when I was supposed to. Thankfully, they're interesting, so I don't have to stab my own eyes out with pen. So I'm thinking I'm start reading the 500+ pages later on in the afternoon, whilst at Starbucks. If I even decide to go. FML.

You know if I were to post that on the FML website, I'm sure I would get like a zillion 'YDI' responses. (YDI = You Deserve It)

I should get started.

On the Stroke of Midnight...

It's almost midnight and I should be doing my page summary on masks in Ancient Greek theatre, but I just can't bring myself to do it. I've decided to just wake up early tomorrow and finish it, and I should just memorize my lines (and write a new blog post) before going to bed.

My acting midterm is tomorrow, I'm sure I've mentioned it. I'm doing a scene from "Lysistrata" with pretty easy lines, the problem is, memorization. *Sigh* I've almost gotten them down, though. I just need to work on my cues!

It is now officially midnight, as I write this.

We actually have everything ready: we made masks out of plastic and Crayola magic modeling clay/foam, whatever the fuck it is; we've created a costume, which consists of a makeshift miniature toga, a plastic sword that's meant to represent an erect penis, and draw-on abs on cardboard. The chorus is in tune, we've practiced blocking, we have expansive sexual innuendo (bordering on sexual harassment, actually), our masks are painted and all that's left is memorization.

I hope it goes well!

Truthfully, I want to set the bar for the other groups. I want them to watch us and be like "Fuck, we failed", whilst we laugh in mirth. I also want to "wow" the instructor.

On another note, tomorrow, sadly, we are assigned new groups. I really dislike this. I would hate to get someone who can't act and doesn't even try, or someone who isn't willing to participate. Like I've told my current theatre troupe- if I get people like that, expect to hear me screaming my head off. Constantly.

I want to keep my current group, dammit!

Okay, well this has gone on long enough. I have to get back to work, so I'll blog later on today, since it is after midnight.

Wish us luck!! : )

In Honor...

Today is a day dedicated to the memory of those guys who committed suicide because of homophobic bullying. Tyler Clementi, Seth Walsh, Justin Aaberg, Raymond Chase, and Billy Lucas- This post is dedicated to them and all of those that are victims of anti-gay bullying.

Sadly, Ignorance is prevalent among people today- be it because of their upbringing or because they're just naturally obtuse. How the hell can someone call someone else a "fag" or a "faggot"?In all seriousness, Would you call me a "spic" or a "wetback"? Would you call an African American a "nigger"? Would you call an Asian or Asian American a "chink"? It's as if people seriously do not fucking understand what an insult it is. And, to the question, if you would do all that, then you are scum, in my not so humble opinion.

Brief English Lesson to all of you out there: "Faggot" is actually a term used for a bundle of sticks tied together. It is also, officially, an contemptuous word for a woman. Seriously, look it up. It's only used, sadly, as slang. I

But in relation to the "faggot" thing, do people know exactly how stupid it makes you look if you describe something as being "gay"? I wasn't aware that an inanimate object or situation had a sexual orientation. You should write an article for a scientific journal or something, since you must have some type of psychometric abilities to be able to tell that!

Also, I must note, this is called "Sarcasm". [sahr-kaz-uhm] If you are not familiar with the term feel free to google it, or visit these two should yield the definition.

It just pisses me off when people say stupid shit like that. Some idiots cannot even respect a day to honor the dead! People who committed suicide because of ignorance and prejudice like that! Calling today "Faggot Day" and stupid shit like that. Do you know exactly who you're insulting when you say stupid shit like that? You're insulting some of my best friends, some of my family members, my little sister!

So yes, I get pissed off when people say shit like that. It's not cool, it's not funny, and it just makes you look like an ignorant ass- which you probably are.

Either way, regardless of what type of bullying it is, it os wrong. Anything that can drive some poor kid to kill themselves is wrong and should not be condoned under any type of circumstances.

I was going to continue to blog about my day, but I can do that tomorrow. Please, read what I posted and truly think about what you are saying next time you say "fag", "faggot" or refer to something as "gay". Think about the people who commit suicide because of the ignorance and lack of tolerance in this country.

And, for those that know me personally, (which is probably a large number of you) I don't actually have a little sister, by blood anyways. She's one of my best friends, whom I see and call my little sister, because to me she is exactly that- my little sister.

Also, concerning the racial slurs, I used quotes to signify that I was not using them in that context. Putting them in there is just to compare and to drive the message across. I apologize if it offended you.

Thank you for reading.

"In The Jungle, The Mighty Jungle..."

So at the moment, I should be practicing for my Acting Midterm, which is a scene from Lysistrata. Apparently, I'm playing an aroused Athenian male, which I symbolize with a sword. Heh. Phallic symbolism much?

We just went through the actual acting, which is now looking pretty fucking awesome. I'm sure if I was the audience, I would be cracking the hell up! At the moment we're discussing costumes: I'm considering using a short piece of canvas I stole from my art class in high school (which for some reason I still have), and getting a piece of cardboard and painting abs on it.

Apparently we're singing now. How very "Glee" of us. Haha!

I want food. I'm starving. I'm actually considering just going to "The Hat" real quick, and then coming back...but bleh. Don't want to.

Randomness: Earlier I bought a Venti Caramel Frappaccino, my first one in months (literally months), and I was drinking it in the rain. Ha! Take that society.

For now, howling and more singing. "Jumper" this time.

Blog post continue at 8:05

And Ivan, if you're reading: Edited at 7:56. : P

Well, now I'm home, after grabbing a bite to eat with Cliff and Sabrina. We went to Subway, and I had this whole issue with the lack of mayonnaise packets. Long story short: I had a cup of mayo and had to spread it on my sandwich with a straw- not fun.

I now have the task of thinking about my costume for my midterm. I have to looked like a sex-starved Greek warrior, which is bound to be really fun, if slightly awkward.

Anyone have any ideas?

Just took a quick twitter break, and I found out Indiana Jones is Trending!! Sweet! I fucking love Indiana Jones! Except the new one, which to me, isn't really part of the series. Haha! Only Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom and The Last Crusade are considered part of that!

Although, to be honest, I would love it if the movies were continued with a new actor, kind of like James Bond. Only Indiana Jones isn't a book- but it should be! Though, knowing Hollywood nowadays, it'd probably be horrible... And I just found out there's an Indiana Jones video game for Xbox!! I am so buying one, now! Someone tell me, can an Xbox360 play original Xbox games?

Okay! Enough about about Indy. Haha!

Damn...this post is like the most random shit ever! Hahaha! And there's thunder as I type this! This is fucking awesome!

Btw: I have to go to a showing of the play "Measure for Measure" by William Shakespeare on November 5th. I get to visit the same theatre I took field trips to during my whole High School career! Awesomeness!

REMINDER: People wear purple tomorrow! In the honor of those kids who were driven to suicide by anti-gay bullying! Anything/anyone that drives someone to suicide is wrong and must be stopped! So please, in the memory of those poor guys please wear the color purple tomorrow! Doesn't matter if it's a small thing, just wear it!

Ideally, I Should be Inhaling Some Type of Caffeinated Beverage

Today was a challenging day. Very challenging. I began my day at midnight, working on my research paper for my World Literature class, analyzing the many aspects and themes of Euripides's' The Medea. Needless to say, it was not very fun. Coming up with ideas and new paragraphs at 3 am was downright horrible to say the least. I finally finished around 6 am, with various paragraphs about how Medea was just a wronged woman, and had a right to revenge, etc, etc.

I was all happy, really to press print and go to sleep, when I remembered- the bibliography. The fucking, god damned bibliography. . .

So I had to run various searches, through various search engines, in order to find the way to cite your sources, which had to have been the most tedious thing I have ever, ever, ever done. Ever. So I printed it out, half-asleep and with no caffeine, and irritated as hell. Those of you that know me, this is what we call "Super-Bitch Mode", in which, yes, I will yell and completely verbally eviscerate anyone who says something stupid of sends a funny look my way. (Btw, in the middle of typing this I decided to uproot myself from my seat at the kitchen table and moved to my bed. Can you say, convenient? I love my new laptop!!) So I was finally allowed to knock out around 7 am, and allowed to sleep until 11 am or 12 pm, which was a nice 5 hour nap.

I woke up the warmest I have ever been, and my bed was so comfortable, that I slept for another twenty minutes. And another ten after that. And another five after that. When I finally woke up, I showered, ate breakfast, courtesy of my mom. It consisted of some blended health drink and a cinnamon raisin bagel. After that, I collected my papers, which were strewn about like if a hurricane hit (remember: Super-Bitch Mode) and got a ride to campus.

After I arrived in class I sat down and had a conversation about the tediousness of writing on Medea, with the other people who write on the same subject. Apparently, it was a popular subject. I then spent an hour and a half being taught about Confucius and Daoists, and THEN I get told that the essay, the one I spent 6+ hours on that morning, is due next Monday!!

What the Hell?!

So I'm not really sure, is it a blessing in disguise or just an FML?

Because now, with more time I can edit it and improve it. Hell, I could probably write more and use more sources, not to mention I can move stuff around to make in generally better. 'Cause, seriously, I was so desperate for research, that I quote Sparknotes. Sparknotes!

Well anyways, now I'm supposed to be working on my Myth and Lit essay, for which I need a conclusion and some severe editing...

So wish me luck! Haha! : D

Come on! Let's all OD on Tylenol!

Bleh. I'm starting to get a fucking headache.

Well today I went to sleep at 6:30am and the woke up at 2:44pm, after pulling an all nighter to get 80 percent of my mythology essay done, which I kind of did. I am supposed to compare and contrast three different creation myths from different cultures. I chose "Genesis", "The Creation from The Eddas" and "Creation of Uligarra and Zalgarra", which are Christian, Norse, and Sumerian, respectively.

I got maybe 80 percent done, today. It's probably total crap, but it's better than nothing. Unfortunately, I have another 6 pg essay due tomorrow, which completely and utterly sucks. Which I'm also not going to finish. I will try, don't get me wrong, but 75% chance that I will not finish. But thankfully, my professor kind of forgets about the assignment, which why I have so little time, to begin with, so she might forget about it. Besides, if I don't finish, I can always turn it in later, which ensures that it will be better than whatever crap I slap together today. So I'm not so stressed about the World Literature essay (the 6 pg. one), but I am concerned about the mythology one, which sadly, does seem to be pure, unedited crap.

I woke up, kind of headache-y, which is to be expected after staying up for so long, seated in front of my computer, typing about inane shit I don't really care about. Truthfully, I would rather be working on my research paper on the Tuatha-De-Danann, if I had to be working at all! I want a break. Lol

So now, before I dive back into the fold, I am munching on pizza and potato chips, relaxing my stressed-out mind, and trying, desperately to wake up. I love this pizza, btw. It's like the best breakfast food in existence.

I have half a mind to go find that Tylenol bottle I purchased on Friday and pop a few. The other half just wants to sleep.

So, wish me luck on mu impossible task, and hope that I can actually install my printer correctly, so i can actually edit those essays from hell. Hahaha!

Okay, To Begin With....

To begin with, I'm making this new blog in order to chronicle a new chapter, page, volume, etc, in my life. The other blog, Midnight Stargazing, will stay up, but I no longer feel the urge to write on it. I fell it has become a chore to write on it. And while I love it, and it kind of hurts to replace it, I feel I have to move on. I will most likely not post on it anymore, but you know, never say never. That blog was the beginning of my writing dreams, of my true personality, and where my true "uniqueness" gathered a form. I thank all of you who read it and commented, deeply and with all my heart, and I hope that you will continue to read this new one. Sarah, Rainy, Daniel, Jazmin, Robin, Stephen, Rithwik, Sean and Mathilde, who all read and commented, thank you. : ) I lost touch with some of you, hope you will come back, I do truly miss you.

To you new readers, have fun. Stay. Welcome to the slightly insane world of Raul.

The title, whilst a little weird, has a story. A couple of months back, before I had finished High School, and I still talked to my father's side of the family (I don't anymore, for reasons I will disclose later on) I was talking to my cousin. I had told him that earlier that week that I had just scene the movie "The Devil Wears Prada" and while it isn't the manliest of movies, I really liked it.

He had never seen it, so I gave him a quick synopsis of the movie, telling him about the characters. I explained to him, and he said that the bitchy woman, whose name escapes me at the moment, reminded him of me. And I was like "WTF? Bitch." Because I don't know why it would, since I'm the nicest thing since sliced bread. ; )

Well anyhow, later on in the day, after I bought my mandatory box of Pocky, he turned to me and said "You know, you should write your autobiography and call it 'The Devil Wears Doc Martens'."

He said this because of my obsession with my Doc Marten boots, which I had bought myself as a birthday gift late last year. I love those boots. : )

Now, today, a day after I bought my new laptop, a macbook (btw), I had decided to keep writing in my blog, which I totally missed. I began my first real post in months, very long months, and I couldn't write it. I just couldn't. It felt like such a chore. I tried to write a word, it didn't work out. A sentence was horror. Don't even ask me about paragraphs!

So, earlier today, after trying to write a post about Halloween, I found that I couldn't. It just wouldn't come to me, despite the fact that I missed blogging so much! Like, I tried replacing it with notes on facebook, but no! It was just lame! It felt like a cheap imitation!

So after some soul-searching (and some procrastination, which I continue to do, haha) I came up with the idea of creating a new blog, something which I said I wouldn't do, because I wanted Midnight Stargazing to reach epic lengths. But it didn't, and it wouldn't since it was such a chore for me. And thus, "The Devil Wears Doc Martens" was born.

And now, enough with the procrastination! I must return to my evil essays, which I must finish! So thanks for reading, comment, and expect many future posts!

Au Revoir!

-I really hope I spelled that right! : P
